Ngoto
Naue and ngoto Koyondo are among the many women that collected and poured
water into a storage tank in the Merrueshi Primary School. Each woman collected
100 gallons of water per day. The water in the storage tank was used for
school construction. Each woman was paid a stipend for collecting water.
The women used the stipend to buy basic needs such as soap, beads, food,
cloths, and paid school fees for their children. Munga, man on left, supervised
the water collection and storage room.
