COLLECTIONS

The collections are distinguished by hundreds of masterworks, including intricate beadwork, wood and metal objects such as spears used by the Maasai warriors to protect their cattle, land, and people.

MCAM collections include materials not only of cultural, historical, and aesthetic importance, but also of spiritual significance. Religious and ceremonial objects associated with Maasai culture are also displayed in the Museum.
