Maasai
Association recently purchased emergency vehicle for Merrueshi
Village Health Center and the Mobile Clinic. The emergency vehicle
allows our medical team to reach villages in the outlying areas
and bring vital medical services to patients in need of urgent
medical attention. Emergency vehicle is a significant complement
towards our goal to avert mother and infant mortality in the
region.
We
are currently covering Noosidan, Emurua, and Kunchu villages
with our mobile clinic. Our mobile clinic delivers critical
vaccines for children and pre-natal care for pregnant women.
We also treat diseases such as malaria, whooping cough, and
provide disease prevention education to the villagers.
It
is our hope to extend this program to more villages in the future
